Un stands for Ujian Nasional and it is held every year by the Indonesian government for year 6, 9, and 12 students. Usualy, subjects that are tested for year 12 UN include English, Indonesian languange and Mathematics or Economics but this year government of Indonesia had changed the rule by inputting Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for Science students and Sociology, Geography, and Mathematics for Social Science students. The caused of adding more subjects for UN 2008 is to enhance the country's standard of education. While, there are several effects that happened by changing the rule, which are lack preparation for students and teachers, students and teachers stressed as they did not get the sample questions from previous years since this year is the first year for revising the rule of UN, and at the end many students did suicide because they did not pass the UN. In brief, there will be caused and effects for every decisions that everyone takes.
